Environment | Architects have a responsibility to design energy-efficient and environmentally responsible buildings: 45% of all energy generated is used to heat, light and ventilate buildings, and 5% is used to construct them. 50% of global resources go into construction, and the built environment makes a major contribution to CO2 emissions. This concern with energy efficiency and environmental responsibility is the first principle of all our work and remains throughout the design process.

With each project we establish an energy strategy which takes all aspects of the building into account. We utilise technologies which are appropriate to the project’s budget and we strive to use materials and building techniques which are as energy efficient and as environmentally friendly as possible.
